Whats up guys.
Staying in my mates house tonight and my friend brought up his PS3.
The problem is my friend has a HD Philips TV, and 2 HDMI ports, but we can't get the PS3 on either of them.
Using the channels button we can only go to EXT1, 2 and 3. So we don't really know what to do.
So if any of you have had this problem any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Typically, the HDMI ports go through the channel titled "HDMI".
You should also adjust your settings on your PS3 and set it to "HDMI" in the video settings before you hook it up to the TV.
If that doesn't work, plug your current video output into the television, with the HDMI plugged in at the same time. Then, on the "other" output, set it to HDMI and switch it back to the HDMI channel.

If that doesn't work, check to see that your television set supports HDMI.
See all we have is the HDMI, my friend didn't bring his SCART lead or anything.
Uhh, Xbox fanatic here, all I can say is, new TV or get the cables.
Theres no point really buying a new TV or cables for one night ha ha.
If all else fails use the oldskool A/V with an amazing resolution of 480p
We only have a HDMI cable
Do you have any other HDMI devices to test with? (to determine if it is your PS3 or TV having issues)

I would guess your TV has 3 analog inputs (such as RCA, component, s-video), and 2 digital inputs (HDMI).
Look on the TV remote for an "input" button, I'm assuming you're not gonna get to it with the channel up/down buttons.
Ha ha we actually don't have a working remote.
Night isn't working out ha.

On the TV itself there should be a button to cycle through the inputs.
