Glad I upgraded during Black Friday. I have everything at or above recommended with the exception of the GPU, which is at minimum. I really hope they release a benchmarking tool.
At 1080p my September build should be just fine. Glad to see I finally have a future proof PC.

I have enough to run it, but I fear it might set my components on fire.
I'm sure it will run fine post launch and after few patches on most pc's, just like any pc release it takes a bit of time, even though devs are trying to polish it up it's just too many things to take into consideration and it all comes out post launch, such is software.

My laptop meets recommended requirements except for the GPU. Actually, I don't really know, since I have no idea how to tell what the desktop equivalent of a laptop gpu would be. I've got an nvidia gtx 860m. Anyone know what that is near in terms of power?
Sweet. This is the sole reason I picked up that 970 early. Might need an upgrade of my old i7 870, other that I'm one clear-garbage-and-lesser-games-off-HDD session away from being golden methinks.

I doubt those requirements are completely accurate. I'm below minimum on a lot of newer games but can still play most of them at medium/high settings.
CPU is the problem for me. I've had an AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition (overclocked to 3.8ghz) for around 6-7 years now, Dragon Age Inquisition is really driving its age home. The problem is that I'd have to get a new motherboard and heatsink just to support the change and I simply don't have the money.
What a beast though right? Haven't had to change it in so long only graphics cards and a broken hard drive have cost me. Hopefully with a switch to a much more powerful intel cpu and higher quality motherboard I won't have to shell out for another 6 years.

I wonder what they need 40gig of space for, I really hope it's just a LOT and LOT of content and not OH LOOK YOU CAN SEE THE BACTERIUM ON THIS TEXTURE, mainly when since it's a Witcher game there's going to be a brutal sharpening filter over everything anyway.
