The added missions weren't very... Hitman since there was no real disguising or assassin puzzling, it's just just sneaking from cover to cover in an attic. It's Splinter Cell style where you kinda just point at which chest high wall you want to 47 go to, give him a little slap on the bum and he's off.
The proper missions have you exploring a map and working out the tons of ways to kill your targets, free form style. Just a simple example: [sp]a VIP area in Paris and you can get in there with multiple disguises (including a model who you can disguise as and converse with the target, get into a room alone with her and kill her that way), climbing through multiple paths, or getting a ticket (in multiple different ways) so the guards will allow you entry.[/sp] There's probably more ways too, that I just haven't found them yet. It certainly feels more like Blood Money than Absolution.

Sounds like they want the main content to be proper Hitman, and the extra missions and content is their way of fulfilling other gameplay styles they want to experiment or try their hand at.
