I seem to get the occasional frame drop issues where it drops down to 1 every 20 seconds or so.
I'm not exactly sure why this occurs, but when I try to play, I can't. I've heard a lot of people get this issue so I rely on either Garry or AMD drivers (presuming most people that get the error have an ATI graphics card).
I've tried changing my DX level 8, doesn't help here.
Lowering my screen resolution and/or changing my graphics to the lowest possible doesn't either.
Updating/downgrading my drivers, cleaning my drivers doesn't seem to help.
My specs are fairly good, it can easily run Garry's Mod with over 100 frames constantly at max settings. They're good enough trust me.

Post your full specs. If you dont know how: download speccy.
Also check if annything is using up all your ram/CPU or if annything is overheating using HW temp and Catalyst control centre.
