it was ment to be gritty and dark
its why the color scheme was like that and why every big gears commercial had retarded dramatic piano music with a hint of depression
at the end of gears 3 you finally get happy [sp]that marcus's dad is still alive and your beating the shit out of the locust[/sp] so it gets more colorful and tropical as a result [sp]before the whole ending boss fight and your father dies for real.[/sp] then it gets depressing grey again
Im a big fan of Gears and im just not excited for this game. Its just dumb.

The title is kind of dumb, how can one define "fun"? It's really different for everyone. Although I must admit that it might be dark and gritty but after endless waves in hordes I always laugh my ass off on how silly our team died or whenever I chainsaw some locusts, it never ceases to make me laugh.
