As long as the global blueprints are additions(or cosmetic) to the server blueprints i don't really see the problem.
It lets the player somewhat grow in the game, and not get punished as harshly by restarting or joining a different server, because you don't have to go search for that one blueprint you really want within the other 999.
Probably shouldn't put it on the market tho.
There is no point in it being a collectible if you can buy one of every blueprint for 5 dollars.
