It is better to rebrand it now, with the average consumer getting the updated app with the new name automatically. Then when they get their future phone with Fuchsia, they won't say "What the fuck is Google Pay"* *Whether or not Fuchsia replaces Android is still up in the air, but even if there are devices running Chrome OS, Fuchsia, and Android, it makes sense to have an app that does the same on each platform have the same name.
