Hello everyone, I'm going to build a new computer and I don't know exactly what I'm doing but my friend gave me a build he recommended and I thought I would run it by some other people to make sure it would work.

The build will cost around $1,400 dollars.
Can you guys let me know if this build will work? My limited knowledge of computers has led me to believe it'll work but I'd rather ask some experts.
Do you plan on overclocking? If you do, you need the 4670k to do so, the 4670 does not overclock. If not, get an H87 motherboard and drop the CPU cooler (just use the stock one). The CPU cooler link leads to the CPU by the way, so please fix that. The GD65 is a little much for my taste; the G45-gaming would almost definitely be satisfactory for you. The Z87x-d3h is also a good choice with more USB and better bios but one less PCI-E 3.0 and slightly worse audio quality. The processor and motherboard can probably be purchased cheaper on Newegg because they have combo deals for them that discount anywhere from $20-80.
Another suggestion I have is to get one card. One good card is always better than two worse cards. I recommend the GTX 770, specifically: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125463
Thanks for the input man, would the GTX 770 be compatible with the current build? I fixed the links to.

Yes, it would be.
Awesome man thanks, one last time. My current build is:
Seagate Barracuda 1TB Internal hard drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148840
I decided to go with only 1 1TB Hard drive because right now I have a 25GB hard drive and I'm just about to max that out so I figure I'll be set with 1TB for now and If I need to I can get another one.
Asus Geforce GTX 770:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121770
SeaSonic SSR-650Rm 650W:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151118
Will 650W be enough for this build?

This would all be compatible and work?
650W is adequate if you don't plan on SLI'ing. However, if you don't plan on SLI'ing, you are going WAY overkill on the motherboard (as I've already stated I think you're going way overkill on the motherboard as it is anyway). I also don't know why you went with that particular GPU. It's $10 more than the one I recommended for one less fan and a slower clock.
I somehow missed the link for the GPU and I just grabbed the one I saw on Newegg. So I switched the motherboard and GPU.
The GPU is now: Geforce GTX 770:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125463
The motherboard is now: MSI z87-G45 Gaming: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130693
Is this good for a final build?

Looks good to me. I'm not sure about the cooler, because I'm not familiar with high-end air coolers, but I can't give you any advice for or against it.

Okay, well thanks for the help man I really appreciate it since I've never done this before, so thanks again. If anyone else has any advice let me know.
Hold on a minute, a GTX 770 selling for 409.99$?
AMD is selling their Radeon HD 7990's for just 699.99$ on Newegg right now, AMD released this month 13.8 drivers that fix crossfire issues for the most part.
- DX 10 and 11 games
- Single Monitor up to 1440p resolution
Also you get 8 games for free, it is amazing offer!
