How do you get psychological help as a minor with unwilling parents?

I have a friend who is suicidal. His school's counselors are strictly for school problems and can't talk to you about personal issues. His father won't get him psychological help. What are his other options?

As a friend, it's your obligation to help him in any way possible. If his dad won't let him get psychological help, then you and him need to find someone that will, regardless of how the dad feels.

I'm sure he wouldn't feel so nice if his son just went off and killed himself.

If you're in a country with some kind of Childline equivalent, he should call that. Otherwise, he should go see his GP (if you have those where you are) or, as Zombie said, help him find somebody who will be able to get him psychological help.
