I hope if it actually goes into production, it doesn't get shut down like the Halo movie did. Granted, that got us District 9 but that's sort of a one in a million shot.

But that's part of the charm :v:. Whenever I replay the first game's campaign, I always feel like I'm playing a really cheesy 80s action movie. Over the top in every important department: drama, gore, humor, etc.
It's not really what I'd call intellectually stimulating electronic entertainment.
