According to the zombie survival guide:
Zombies are capable of moving up a staircase
Zombies are incapable of hand over hand coordination.
Can it climb a fence? Well depends on the height of the fence. If it's waist high then it'll probably stumble over it. If it's above your head then it won't climb over it. As stated before, it doesn't know how to climb.
No it cannot distinguish objects no matter how different they are.
Can it tear down a wall? Well what kind of wall? If it's a sturdy brick wall then no if it's only one zombie but if it's a wooden wall then yeah.
