I was browsing Cydia when I came across an app called "Internet Tethering". To my knowledge, enabling tethering on my current provider, O2, costs money per month. Does this hack enable it for free?
No, but it lets you use your data plan as a mobile dial up connection. you still have to pay the fees, but it lets you use the Internet on a computer that has no Internet connection.
Okay, but you just have to pay the normal data plan or do you need to pay the extra bolt-on fees for tethering? See here for what I mean:

I think you just pay the normal data plan fees, this does the tethering bit for free as far as I can figure out.
