Holy hell, so much of this expansion feels so much like "we're not even trying anymore".
They got to realise that they can't keep doing this forever. Yes, the playerbase will live on for a very long time, but they need something new, or people will get disepointed over and over again.
But still they got their money, and they know that no matter what they do, it will continue.

I think since other games bring them money, they should chill.
They really just need to make a new World of Warcraft game. Go back and look at what made BC and WOTLK so appealing to players, the lore, the mechanics, the aesthetics and color choices. I had fun in WOTLK and BC. Karazhan was fanastic, I have never gotten to play a slightly more active version of chess as a raid boss in any other game. They did some fun and imaginative stuff, and now it feels more like they're just milking the cow ala Destiny.
So glad I stopped playing WoW when I could. I found much better MMOs in its place. They seriously do need a new game.
