If you're Native, talk about what tribe(s) you're from. I'm mainly Sicilian Italian with a bit of Welsh, Scottish, and a small bit of Cherokee blood in me. Ended up with the Italian shortness and Welsh paleness which sucks, but my facial features are pretty distinctly Italian.
I don't know, honestly.. I'm adopted. [editline]13th February 2016[/editline] Supposedly first nations, however i don't know what tribe.. But it would explain why i dont ever have to shave.
I don't know, honestly.. I'm adopted.
I'm sorry :( I can somewhat relate since I'm a foster kid, but that really isn't the same.

50% Polish (my mother's side) and a English, Irish, Czech, Slovakian and Romanian on my Dad's side
Doesn't Americans come from many countries?
Fathers side came from Ireland in the mid 20th century for better opportunities. Mothers side came from my German grandmother (rest in peace) alone heading to America shortly after WW2 (they lived in Dresden when it got firebombed) before the Berlin Wall came up
Doesn't Americans come from many countries?
Good job reading both the title and OP.
Good job reading both the title and OP.
I must have fuctioning eyes then
Very mixed for me. Parts of my family have been in America since before the revolution. My last name is apparently modified from an Irish surname, but there are branches of the family with German and English surnames as well. The strangest one is my grandfather on my mother's side, who has a last name with no background in any European country and is mostly found in Oklahoma. I know that there was some Native American involvement somewhere in my family tree, and I think that might have introduced his name.
50/50 Japanese/Irish
Norwegian and Native American on my father's side, French and Irish on my mother's. Basically just Midwestern/Appalachian.
Nicaraguan. edit: To be more specific, both of my parents are from Nicaragua. Me and my sister were born and raised here though.
I'm 25% Irish, 25% Norwegian, 50% German. Naturally I have a pretty high tolerance for alcohol and anger issues.
Irish German Polish Slovak. Probably some other shit, I dunno.
My father's father's side is Bavarian, from a small town outside Munich (or at least it was in 1919, I'm sure it's just a suburb now), though I forget the name. I believe it started with a "W" but I can't be sure. My father's mother is 100% Polish. My mother's mother is 100% Irish while my mother's father is mostly German from the Rhineland with a bit of Irish. Usually I split it as such: 25% Irish, 25% Polish, 50% German and when people ask me what ethnicity I'm from I usually just say "I'm German" even though the Irish and German have a +/-2% to each and the Polish percentage is the only one I'm dead certain of.
swede-finn on my mom's side and scotch-irish on my dad's side
German on my mom's side (Kunert being the giveaway), and some Scot/English mix on my dad's side. I would like to know exactly when my ancestors arrived here, because it seems both sides were here well before the 1900s.
Mostly Irish. One of my relatives traced the family tree and found that at some point in the past our family was rich enough to own lots of land and a castle in Ireland, though I don't know which one or when.
Im mostly Irish and German, but ive got Scottish, English, French, and some Native American (Iroquois and Algonquin)
I'm directly related to the executioner who killed King Charles I. Or so they say. He's credited, but for certain he was at least the common hangman at the time. Still carrying the name and all I'm mostly Irish I believe. My mother's side I have no idea. My father's side, they keep tabs on it and even have a book on our ancestry coming out Family was never a big deal to me, outside the ones I grew up with and see regularly. To me they're just strangers that share the name and bloodline. I'm sure as I get older the history will be more important to me
Every single member of my family afaik is Chinese except for me.
Father's side is English, mother's side is from an ethnically German area of the Czech Republic [sp]0% Dutch[/sp]
This has been a pretty interesting read.
Russian/Ukrainian Ashkenazi
English, German, and Native. Basically, your typical American response. The tribe I belong to is the Patawomeck, a branch of the Powhatan.
German/Swedish. Mostly German.
1/8th Cherokee, half Afghan, and the rest is a mix of Europe. My ancestors kept getting kicked out of countries for being dickheads apparently, so I've got Italian, German, french, Czech, and Romani(Gypsy?) blood in me.
50% Italian, 50% a whole bunch of other shit. Most prominent is Irish (McKimmey), Dutch and Cherokee.
25% Mexican, 25% Dutch, 50% Irish from Ulster.
