So I clamped two batteries together, what can I do with them?

I was bored today so I just put these two batteries together and left them for a while then I found that they got really hot, so I clamped them together to keep the current flowing, they get pretty hot. They're 9V Alkaline batteries, just wondering anything interesting I can do with them while I'm bored? Thanks.

Exactly. ;)
You're doing nothing but wasting the battery power/destroying the batteries. There's not much you can do with that besides touch it to things.
you are creating a short circut so the batteries could explode
have a disco inferno

as in run around dancing badly and touching people with it
Make them really hot and then throw them into a cup of cold water. See what happens.
Unclamp them and put them in something.
Get a steel wool pad and rub it against the connectors.
Wait for them to explode.
Um that's just a plain old short circuit you're doing there.
They probably ran out of power by now
Put them in water.
Lick them.
Cover them in gasoline and light them on fire like i did for a science fair.

I was going to say this.
What a safe place to keep your i-phone/ipod touch.

Next to the fucking on fire batteries.
You are creating a short circuit so the batteries could in fact explode and spray a lot of acid right into your eyes, so it's best just to un-clamp then.
The acid in those are nothing, my dog bursted one in his mouth and he just did that thing dogs do when they don't like the taste of something.
