I was seeing one of my friends for her birthday. cause we are... or were best friends.
So we meet up, as you do. you know, hi, how are you? *hugs* kinda of stuff.
So we walk and talk until we get to our tree (yeah we have a tree).
On the way we passed some cows, and she was going on about cows having 5 stomachs.
So i said no they have 4 - sort of.
So she said i must have a really low IQ.
(This is the sort of thing from a best friend would normally make me unhappy, but its just the way she is to say things like that, it happens all the time so i let it slide as a joke.)
Anyway, about 15 minutes later she was saying something about her favorite author and forgot what she was saying halfway though her sentance.
So, as a joke i added 'Is gay' to the end of it.
After trying to get me to apologise, i tried to get her to apologise about being mean to be earlier.
But she wouldn't, and what i said was no worse so i didn't either.
After this we sat there for an HOUR and a HALF in silence. (thats 90 minutes!)
she wouldn't even acknowledge i was there, i tried to talk to her, even said bless you when she sneezed. but got no response, nothing at all. Not even a good bye from her.
Since then we haven't spoken. Sad thing is i am always very careful about what i say around her because i don't want to hurt her feelings or anything, and if i have ever said something she disagreed with she really makes it known and i apologise for it.
But it never happens the other way round.
That has to be one of the worst ways a conversation can go ever!
