I have a major problem. When my Windows 7 launches, no USB device connects. Meaning I can't do anything. My keyboard and mouse do show that they are working before lauch and I CAN get into the bios with the keyboard, but they just 'disconnect' when Windows 7 loads up. I didn't change anything in the bios before. This only just happened and I haven't done anything different from normal usage. Any ideas on what to do? (I typed this all on my phone Dx) Thanks.
Plug in one of those PS/2 keyboards, if you have one that is.
Usb legacy support got turned of in bios I bet. Your shit still works in bios so you don't have to buy new shit to change the setting back.
Tried both, but I did a system restore (Windows updated yesterday before the problems, so I have an early system restore point) and it now works. I don't know what could have happened, but it's good now.
Use the PS2 connection and navigate to the Device manager.
Verify if the USB devices are installed correctly.
