That's what I'm doing. Wasn't particularly interested in always online singleplayer of D3, but it doesn't seem to get any better. Torchlight 2 is cheaper too. Is there a release date though? Summer 2012 isn't all that accurate.

I'd say just buy it. It's a really fun game with lots of content and the DRM helps more than it hurts.
Buying it with the intent of using a cracked version because the legitimate game is too shitty on its own is idiotic at the very best. You're supporting the continued mindset that putting out a game so utterly broken and/or shit is fine because you will just take it up the ass. If your problem with the game is DRM then why are you paying them, rewarding them, for it? That won't change anything. Have some standards, jesus.

So is WoW's, yet there are hundreds of emulated servers. There will eventually be a crack for Diablo 3, it is just a matter of waiting.
When you start a singleplayer game, blizzard quite literally hosts a server for you to play in. There is no offline mode.

Yeah, I can understand that people would cheat to sell shit on the auction house, but why isn't there the option to be separate from that with an offline profile? I see no reason for there not to be, oh wait, the game uses constant-online DRM.
