I don't know why, but I can't help but feel that the gameplay's gonna be lacking, I really have no idea why it gives me this vibe.
Don't really like the tone this trailer gives. It's all testosterone and explosions when that's not really Alien's thing.
I mean yeah in the movie the marines acted all macho-badass until they realized just how fucked they were, but here it just makes me think of any other shooter.

FYI this was all Sega. The actual game doesn't have this dialogue in it. The guy who wrote the game even said so.
This trailer has just changed my mind about preordering. I'm gonna wait for the reviews.

Yes, and the game is following the same line, macho-badass almost satirical dialogue until things do go down. This is exactly Alien's thing.

That's what I'm hoping, but the trailer didn't seem to give that impression to me. It would have been cooler if it had started with that ridiculous voice-over, then cut to shit getting real. Still, this was more Sega than Gearbox, so I'm not going to get too upset over it.
Also is that fucking dubstep?

Puts me more in mind of Mass Effect 1's soundtrack, the first half of the trailer at least. The second half can't be dubstep, because I don't actually mind it.
