This worth it? I love the original, and does the bundle include the digital deluxe version or standard?
Get it from Humble Weekly Bundle. Contains RO+RO2, and KF+DLC if paid above average.

Game is pretty sweet but depends if you can take the punishment. You can buy standard for $1(+) on humblebundle.com right now if you're worried.
hell yeah time to off some scrubs

that's the lowest average i've ever seen on a HiB.
yikes
I actually started reinstalling this morning before this announcement, it's been months since I last played.

It's not actually a Humble Indie Bundle, its just a Humble Weekly Deal. Last weak was Darksiders 1 and 2 I believe.
That and the only reason to go above $1 is for Killing Floor, a game that has been on sale for years.
Playing as a sniper is fun, gives some awesome "enemy at the gates" vibes. I had a few good rounds on a server running a one life mode once.
For me, playing any other class in general and being stuck on the shit team while/or the other team has a huge height and cover advantage and can snipe you 3/4 of the way across the map with machineguns is not fun in the slightest. Unfortunately thats most of the game right there.

Get good enough with rifleman and no other class is necessary.
I feel like I should reinstall this, are there many servers still active?
I feel like I should reinstall this, are there many servers still active?
I get around 15 with ping less than 150 in Europe. According to server browser it found 89 in total.

I don't know what constitutes "many" but there are always several full servers up for realism mode.
the game has it's own feel but i guess it's kinda like bad company 2 with removed vehicles and building damage.
also when your teammates die close to you they say things that make you feel sad
[editline]4th April 2013[/editline]
the game costs the same as 2 packs of gum just grab it

stop running in the open and start flanking.
I should start playing this again. It was really fun until the free weekend ended and the only servers left were the ones with people that were actually good at the game
RO2 is such an abusive lover... Why do I keep coming back to you?!
Played this game all the time before my computer shit the bed. I recommend it to anyone who likes realistic shooters. It's really unforgiving but once you get the hang of it, it's fun especially when your team works together. Plus, the modding community is starting to pick up a bit with skins and halftracks on the way (hopefully)
Valve knows how to sell a fucking game
god damn

I would actually really like to see a recorded clan match of this. One where everyone in a squad sticks together (for all squads), they follow commands from higher-ups, and the chain of command is optimized and cooperative. Have this on both sides and see how crazy the match is.
Just imagine. A battle of two teams, with everyone at their highest and most cooperative caliber. It would be glorious.

But you get most of the DLC so it's worth it.
Has the issue where it crashes on splash screen endlessly been fixed at all? I picked up RO2 a long while ago, installed it relatively recently and it just crashed on me no matter what I tried. I couldn't find a single fix for it anywhere, the devs were asking for crash logs, I just ended up uninstalling it.
maybe you should have sent them the crash logs so that they could fix it rather than uninstalling it and then complaining about it on here???
Holy crap that Humble Bundle is a total steal. I bought RO2 for 9€ a while ago, and even though I got kind of bored of it after about 30 hours of playing (it was kind of low on content at the time, it seems to have gotten some more maps since), it was still worth it. For 1$ you should just get it if you find it the slightest bit interesting. The gameplay might not be everyone's cup of tea, but you've got to love the authentic feel of the game. It makes you feel like you're really fighting a war, and not like you've been placed in a contrived arena by someone who has a too vivid imagination.
Oh and if you don't have Killing Floor yet, you should just get that as well, it's hands down one of the best coop games IMO.
Nice to see that the player count has practically doubled during the night.
But I guess that is only temporary. :( such a nice game, I hope some people stick with it.

There'd been thousands of replies with their crash logs in the post on the official forums, and I did post mine. I thought it simplest to uninstall it until a fix had been released as I'm running low on HDD space. I'm not complaining, I'm asking if they'd actually fixed it.
