The epson TM-T20 receipt printer registers on invalid state when connected to a posiflex terminal running windows xp via comport. can someone please assist as to what could be wrong?
It is a Posiflex RS6215. The printer is the Epson TM-T20-001. I can print without issues via USB, however for it's particular purpose it will need to print via COM port. Please assist.

PS: Yes, I did add new printer on COM 2 (the port it is connected to).
Make sure the COM port is set to 9600 baud, many serial printers fail when set to different baud rates.
9600 bits per second
8 data bits
no parity
1 stop bit
no flow control
