Ones of people are excited.
I don't know why Crytek made this. It flopped on X1 and it's going to flop on PC. I have not seen anyone ask for this and Crytek lost the trust of PC gamers after Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 wasn't able to help them any.
Hooray, a kind of okay game that quickly turns boring coming to PC!
I don't know how they were able to make a game about Romans so boring. Could have been really cool if they just made it a bit less of an XB1 graphic showcase.
It will be interesting how it will be received, but I think it will mostly be used as a benchmark rather than a game.
They talk a lot about graphics in the store description so it's like they're marketing it as a toy for benchmarking.
It's just all QTEs. The only game that's done QTE's in a fun way was Dragon's Lair. It came out in 1983. Even the 720p remake on Steam bastardized and made it boring, though. The original highlighted things on screen like doors, staircases, monsters, and it was up to you to figure out which button to press at the right time. The new re-make also shows which button to press taking all the fun and trial and error away. I just hate QTEs
I played through the game a few times and I quite enjoyed it. The combat can get repetitive, but if you play on Legionary difficulty it can be quite a fun challenge. I found the story quite engaging as well, backed by some excellent voice acting and equally fantastic movie quality cutscenes. The gladiator mode is quite fun as well, and I soaked many hours into it. The game may not be great, but it's definitely enjoyable if you can look past its repetitive nature and often Hollywood-esque plot points.
Such a pretty game though [t]http://cdn0.vox-cdn.com/entry_photo_images/8336189/5RYSE_E3_Cin1_02.jpg[/t] dat texture size
Ryse and Crytek are proof that a game engine doesn't mean shit if the game is shit.
Nah that's ok you can keep it on the Xbox One.
but half the people will be buying this game for graphics and extracting models from it. You can't do that on xbone.
Is it true that the QTE's actually complete themselves?
