looks like we've passed the apex of minecraft's lifetime and now it's a typical "lmao lol notch vacations lazy greedy" fest now.
Most of those hours were probably Rooster Teeth

Minecraft's lifetime passed when Notch failed to deliver some of the features that were amazingly publicized.

It's still fun though

I'm not saying PC gamers are elitist jerks, but when console players say things like that they're typically talking about people with very similar opinions to yours. Minecraft did hit the mainstream gaming audience fairly recently (spoilers: there's a lego set), if anything there's brilliant marketing involved. I'm not saying you're wrong, but why be rude about it?

Totally worth it though, their Minecraft stuff is fucking funny.
Who would want to play minecraft on an Xbox?

My only gripe is that the reason I bought the game is because I read through his blog and he had some really amazing ideas for it, since I love Dwarf Fortress and he took huge inspiration from that.
That's my own fault though, I could have waited a year and seen that the development was going at a snails pace and chosen not to buy it.
To be honest I think he was just in way over his head. He didnt know that the game was going to be immensely huge and they were gonna have huge expectations of him
Who would want to play minecraft on an Xbox?
Apparently about 6 million people
Who would want to play minecraft on an Xbox?
Those who prefer a more fluid and optimized gameplay with local coop?
Who would want to play minecraft on an Xbox?
Some of my friends play it because they don't have a very good computer to run games on. I've tried Minecraft on Xbox, it's shit compared to the PC version.

I can't say I don't rely on my console though, it's just amazing that you can make so much money off of an unfinished product because the consumer base consists of many people who have no idea what they have even been promised when they bought into an alpha, & which has been further restricted and dilluted with the hardware limitations arbitrarily imposed by the XBOX which are probably just a lack of initiative on the port dev's part.
What it really goes to show is that minecraft could have been something more, but Notch is a poor developer as the PC game fails to take advantage of hardware.

Why not...... hate to break it to you but not everyone is a pc gamer!
Eh, I prefer it on Xbox because a couple of my friends play it. It's no fun alone.
Who would want to play minecraft on an Xbox?
The split-screen is very fun with 3 of your friends.
The only reason I wouldn't play it on a console is simply because of mods.
The only reason I play on console is because my computer doesn't loves me.
