What a load of shit.
That looks... mediocre but it's always good to see new consoles making an appearance.
Seems like nvidia would be causing a lot of problems for themselves by competing with hardware makers that use their chips.
Mediocre? Looks just as capable as the Ouya by itself and with streaming PC games to the thing within your home too, it seems like a great little thing to keep around.
Where's the Kickstarter?
Now I can have a hand-held frying pan!

The streaming PC thing is interesting but if you don't have a powerful enough PC (or no PC at all) then the console's attractiveness in terms of how much you would play with it is cut in half.
It looks awful to hold and I doubt the touchscreen is going to be as useful as they think it will be. At least they aren't ~saving pc gaming~
Using wi-fi it can also be paired with a computer containing one of Nvidia's GeForce video cards to run PC games. In this case the desktop computer's processors power the software, offering higher quality graphics than could be rendered by the mobile processor.
Ok, so i thought this thing was entirely useless at first, but it lets you play PC games on the shitter with an xbox control. Looks like shit, but this is a cool feature
It looks awful to hold
At least better than any other handhelds except maybe the Game Gear.
I like the idea that you can stream games from your own PC. EDIT: oh it will work with Steam http://shield.nvidia.com/play-pc-games
Well it still can't be as terrible as the Xperia Play. In fact the tagline for most of these types of products should be 'Not as shit as (insert sony product here).
4k standard

Tegra 4
yes with games that don't look like ass? haha nvidia you so funny
I can see using this to pilot bomb defusing bots or certain pc planes with cameras attached. Maybe taking it to a lan party with certain games even, but I'm not going to use it as a portable gaming device.
Am I the only one that thinks this is cool as hell?
Am I the only one that thinks this is cool as hell?
I'm interested in it a lot, especially if it's reasonably priced. But then again, I met the requirements for the PC part.
At first I thought this was gimmicky, but the more I read into it the more and more I like it. I could easily see myself on the train playing on this, touch controls fucking suck for most games on the App/Play Store. And I like the idea of being able to stream from my PC and then HDMI output into my TV, very nice.
Oh god that controller seems so awkward to use.
