8800GT fan keeps setting itself to off, and the card heats up to around 80C

My 8800GT keeps setting its fan to off or 0% according to nTune, and it drives the temperatures up to around 80C idle, Causing me to have to turn on the fan every time I startup, yet just a few weeks ago it worked fine.
Download Rivatuner and set the speed manually.
80C while idling is pretty normal for a 8800GT to be honest. My old 8600 GTS superclocked was running at 76 degrees idle with the stock cooler
Anyways, use a application such as MSI afterburner or Rivatuner to set the fan speed manually
My card idles at 50c everyday. How is 80C NORMAL?!
Speedfan says my 8800GT is 56C idling. And my comp may be a LITTLE hot because my CPU is 58C idle... but idk, just get ur fan goin.
80C idle is normal?
his idle temp alone worries me.
I cant imagine what your temps are at full load.
Rivatuner the shit out of that fan with a fixed constant fan speed.
My dad had 2 8600GTs die after 2 years because the fans stopped spinning, they had dried up all the oil and grated themselves to a stop

8600 =/= 8800gt. Its too hot for both of those cards to run that on IDLE. On LOAD its exceptable but not on IDLE.
