• Steam games server list almost empty (G-Mod & CS:S)

Yo, I recently got a new router which was assigned to me along with the new broadband I ordered (Cisco EPC3825), and the problem is, I either can't see any games on CS:S or GMod server lists, or only very few (<50). I have tried adequate port forwarding along the lines of http://portforward.com, but for no avail. Sometimes, if I opened a certain port, the VAC security system couldn't connect and I'd get dropped out of games, and sometimes I would not see any servers at all instead of the few I'd see with the original settings. These are the ports opened at the moment: 27014 - 27050 TCP 4380 - 4380 UDP 27000 - 27030 UDP 50% of the time I open G-Mod or CS:S, I can find 40-80 servers or so, and the other time I can only view my favorites that I used to add when everything was still fine. Help would be very much appreciated. :)
I have this problem It's not all the time this happens make sure nothing in the filter's other then that nobody has been able to help me
What happens on a wired connection?
Its more of a game issue, I know gold source does this to me.
your router sucks and is getting overloaded by all the connections trying to be made when you refresh the server list
Just use something like Game-Monitor. Much better than in-game server browsers.
My old zyxel router rebooted if you opened a lot of connections (like pinging and requesting information on servers on the steam master list)
What happens on a wired connection?
It is wired.
Just use something like Game-Monitor. Much better than in-game server browsers.
How does it work, and where to get it from?
http://www.game-monitor.com/ Just get the game and choose your country and voila! But it goes down too damn often.
