How did the game turn out anyway? Is it any close to the Underground arc?

I personally like Jeff's review of it Feels nice, can look nice, but there is just not much else to it aside from the REALLY dumb FMV scenes.
Is the physics engine tied to the frame rate again?
I honestly think the game looks great. I like how the wetness appears on the car, how it beads and rolls off the windows. I don't think its nice to have it always raining though. The game really does seem feature lacking. Low amount of cars, limited garage space, limited modification on some vehicles. Sounds like they're keeping the door wide open for DLC, but basically spitting in the face of people who paid full price for this. Typical EA price gouging bullshit. Visually appealing, appalling gameplay.
