• Computer Stops Detecting Monitor

As the thread title says, my computer seems to randomly stop detecting my monitor and resetting the resolution to a lower setting without letting me re-adjust to a higher one, and if I manage to do so, it moves on to say "Input Not Support" (yes, with that kind of grammar). I've been able to reset each time it happened, but I'm getting frustrated, and can't seem to fix it this time around. Quite obviously, I was only addressing the symptom, not the cause, and could use assistance in fixing this. Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 8gb RAM AMD Radeon R9 200 AOC monitor (I have no idea on the model # at the moment, lights are out and my friend is going to bed) Not sure if it's related, but I've also been having some problems at various points while using my computer, most notably while gaming. My games tend to freeze/lag, and while I do have network issues (shitty ISP), I've noticed my computer revving up about the time the lag/freeze hits. Sound continues to work fine, though. I've also had a problem when I first got this computer. Had to replace the video card as the old one was shit. Put in new one, blew out my old PSU. Put in a new one, everything was fine since. I haven't tried another monitor yet, have to grab my replacement out of a huge den of spiders. My monitor just seemed to re-detect itself. Just took some time. Re-installed graphics drivers, that didn't fix the issue.
