• Logitech G500s mouse randomly disconnecting and resetting to factory default

I've had this issue with so many mice in the past, and this is by far the worst My logitech G500s mouse will randomly disconnect during usage, and will reset it's internal memory to default settings. This makes it so that any kind of sensitivity adjustments are thrown out of the window after less than 5-10 minutes of playtime, making it impossible to play properly. I have tried: -Keeping the control panel open. This saves the settings in the control panel, but doesn't send it to the mouse. Updating settings a couple of times in here uploads it to the mouse again -Reinstalling the control panel. -Flashing the mouse to it's new firmware -Disabling power management features on the mouse and USB ports, preventing the OS from turning off USB devices to save power -Plugging into different USB ports(regular USB, powered USB, USB 3.0, USB's connected to the motherboard's headers). The only difference is that the last one makes this happen twice as frequently. -Changing polling rate settings: 1000hz increases the frequency of this happening, while any setting below that is the exact same I'm completely stumped by this. I would try checking another computer, but i really don't have one at hand. Anyone have any ideas?
You should go to a friend's house to ensure it's not your computer, sounds like a hardware fault with the mouse though
Could it be the same problem of a breaking cable that all G400's share in common? Try to wiggle the cable back and forth and see if it disconnects. My G400 (and I think it isn't the only one, looking at the thousands of threads in logitech forums about the issue) does it.
