I have a cell that I want to format based only it's value (not the values of the cells near it). The problem is that I can't figure out the conditional formatting in Excel 2007.
So, for example I would like the fill color of the cell to change as its value (mod 1000) increases.
e.g. if you put in 1000 it would be white, but 1500 would be a dark shade of red (for example), 1999 would be really dark, and then 2000 would be back to white again.
Is this even possible?
