Martha gave this cheeseburger a health rating of just 2/10
I'm not surprised, it looks like it's covered in mold
I looked at all the blog posts and it turned out looking at food is really fun.
I wish this didn't have to shut down. There's not even that many pages.
Now she knows that "World is not fair".
Anyways. Whoever thought banning taking photos is a moron.
For a nine year old she writes reeeeaaaaally good!

She probably writes it and her father corrects the errors
She should start it up again! I see progress on this with the charity and all. Besides this should be a good thing as she'll make the school even better.
That school council decided to acknowledge only the bad things about their meal choices and fudged up their PR image afterwards by punishing the blogger girl.
I so hate that remark that "Our school meal provision is fully compliant with nationally agreed nutritional standards".
I keep remembering what my school meal was every day (back in 1990) and it wasn't entirely healthy. But they used the same excuse as these folks. Shameful...
Wow is that whole thing posted what constitutes an entire meal? I think I'd just go out of school or bring my own packed lunch in if that's what the regular meal is.
So you get free lunch at school huh?
So you get free lunch at school huh?
In the UK it depends whether or not you're earning enough. Families under a certain threshold get free lunch / milk for any kids attending school. Otherwise the parent usually has to pay a set amount.

In Sweden we do.
it's like that in the US too
When i was a kid the only thing that was nice on the school dinners was PINK FUCKING CUSTARD!!!!
but to fit in i eventually bought one of them old skool themed lunch boxes ( mine was TMNT ) and we sat round the table pretending we were watching it like a tv with the lunchbox half open, ah memories.

Better than our food, a loose meat burger tastes like it's made of sand, water, onions and taco powder.

As opposed to tasting of nothing.

Yup, hunks of plastic that come flavored like the real thing. I brought my lunch to school almost every day.
free lunch if you meet the requirements, otherwise its 2.50 for a meal (for my highschool at least)
2.50 for the "meal of the day". 2$ extra for a Gatorade, or a pretzel, or anything that isn't school made at mine. Oh and anything extra would cost extra, like an extra milk or extra "meal of the day", you have to pay more for. Cookies are .50 but are like 3 inches wide, at most. I pack my lunch and don't even go to the lunch room, just eat in one of my teacher's room.

Dont eat anything at our school. I dont see the point in school food either, the school is all like "Be healthy. Live healthy" but they sell burgers that give you diarrhea. also kids with parents that either are on benefits or have only 1 parent get food for free. its stupid. I cant understand the 1 parent part but the benefits part is ridiculous considering half of the kids parents play on the fact they have benefits.
Oh wow, I don't know what it is about that plastic plate that it's served on but it makes all the dinners on the website really unappetising.
In my country we gotta bring our own food, unless we decide to spend ridiculous amounts of money in the cafeteria. A very small wrap costs 35kr (or 5,8 dollars).
In England, it's £1.50 for a fucking ham baguette at my school. 99% of the time nobody buys meals so they started just serving us shit like hashbrowns, rolls, pizza, salad and grape pots.

The burgers at my Old schools looked WAY bigger than that.
Probably because you live in the US :v:
we didn't even get burgers at my school. just toast with a cube (not like spread over the toast, an actual cube) of butter on it, and maybe some potato wedges.
Wow, I'll never complain about my free school lunch again.

I remember when I was bound to school meals.
But then I went to a Sixth Form College and ate Subway everyday.
at my old high school they sold fucking pizza hut brand pizza
