Computer BSOD's on Startup, System Restore is wiped?!

What the fuck?
Also lucky me facepunch is the only website that works for me other than google in safemode with networking :downs:
So for whatever fucking reason today when I started up my PC, I got a BSOD when windows was about a minute into loading. Everytime. Pissed me off, especially since the only thing I installed since yesterday was Ventrillo (which for some reason after looking into the add/remove programs DOESN'T EXIST THERE), but I figure it's nothing that a system restore today can't fix right?
Well too bad for me, because for whatever reason my entire system restore is gone.
What the fuck?????
I load up the system restore and find that all of my restore points are missing and it won't let me browse to other months. This is VERY strange because I've never disabled my system restore (it's still on), and when looking into the folder it appears that the log file is still there. Why the hell would that happen?
I very much doubt it's a virus. I've been scanning with malwarebytes for a while and there's not any infected files (I don't really download shit that'll do that or visit harmful websites), and I've not been expereincing any problems before.
But this essentially makes my nice expensive PC that I used for a shitload of things into a giant paperweight. Formatting is not an option, it would literally take me weeks to backup all I needed to, and my only OS I can do it with would be an outdated OEM XP disc that's already been used.
What the fuck do I do? I'm stressing out here because I've potentually lost GB's worth of hardwork here if I can't get my PC to work, especially since I have no means to back anything up with (and can't afford anything to do it with). I've tried running CCcleaner and it fixed some registry errors but that didn't help at all.
Do you have another computer?
Extra hard drive?
It appears as if I fixed the issue. I did a run command for "chkdsk c: /r" in safe mode (it said it needed to run on reboot) and even though I never saw the utility run, when I booted in "debug mode" in effort to get to the recovery console so I could try inputting the command there, windows started normally... everything appears to be working fine. I don't know if it's because I booted into debug mode (what is it anyways?), or not.
So yeah, don't know that the fuck is going on. It defiantly is related to drviers intermingling in the boot sector though judging from what I looked up online on my BSOD code.
Probibly has to do with the fact that when I first go this OS 2-3 years back I thought it would be cool to try and have a custom windows loading screen, and has since been removed. Probably caused a shit tonne of boot sector problems (including the one I'm experiencing now).

Okay but I still can't get my system restore to work. It says it can't create a restore point when I manually put one in, and it's still wiped.
Allright, I still have this problem.
I've discovered I can get windows to work only if I boot into Debug mode (I still don't know exactly what it does other than record debug data), but debug mode seems to work exactly the same as normal mode (all my games, etc work exactly the same).
Why could this be? And any idea on how to fix my system restore?
Here's my BSOD stop code when I try to boot into windows normally:
STOP: 0x0000007B (0xB84C3524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
I looked up what the stop code could mean and it seems like it has to do with a damaged boot sector. I have no idea how to fix this. Any help?
Update the drivers for your hard drive controller. If the drivers to your hard drive controller device are outdated, incorrect, or corrupted then the STOP 0x0000007B error will likely occur.
Note: This will likely be the solution if the second hexadecimal number after the STOP code is 0xC0000034.

Looks like it might be corrupted HDD drivers.

Yep, it's time like this you start backing up what you can, format and start over.
But if so why does everything work fine when I boot into debug mode (and work exactly the same)?
Actually booting into any mode other than "normal" works for me.
Also I do not have a hard drive controller.
I heard running stuff like "fixmbr" from the recovery console and chkdsk should fix this issue, but the problem is chkdsk can only run from the recovery console (I can't find my windows XP disk and it's only accessable through the disk), and if I try to run it from windows it won't let me. Doing it through the run menu tells me that it'll run on a reboot but it never does.

On the plus side this is a great anti-little sister deterrent to her getting on+staying on before I wake up in the morning or something. I live in one of those situations where I made/bought a computer and now it's property of everyone :P
Okay sorry for bump but I think my problems with the system restore might have been due to a virus. I've been noticing lately that my google links I click on redirect to ad-sites... that's all it does though, but I've suspected that it's also wiped my system restore too to prevent it getting removed. Regardless I've run several removal programs in effort to get rid of it.
In which that case, the whole thing might be due to a virus, but I doubt that for the boot sector BSOD shit.
Try Spybot Search & Destroy.
Finds most shit.
