Hello, I have gone into a time warp, into the dinosaur era and I am using an NVIDIA 7600GT. I was wondering if anyone knows what the temperatures in game and idling temperatures should be? Acoording to Speccy my Temperatures are: Idling: 50-60 degrees Celcius Running/In game: 70-80 degrees Celcius Of course these temperatures vary depending on the weather but the hottest my card has been would be the low 80's. When it is at these temperatures I give it a rest every 20 or so minutes just incase I blow it. Replies very much appreciated Thanks
I'd say that's about par for the course, assuming the cooler that came with it is adequate.
It should be able to run correctly at 80 degrees. My 9600GT runs at 55 degrees celcius when under heavy load. I would recommend that you clean out your computer with compressed air and remove all the dust. Your video card should be running below 70 degrees celcius under load.

My Radeon 4870 works at 75 Under load. You should be fine.

Thanks for the replies
I have 2x 7600GT's, an asus 7600GT and a XFX 7600GT XXX The XFX ran around 30-40 at a locked 12.5% fan speed, whereas the asus one was slightly hotter.
