So, my brother had this old laptop for over 5 years now, and basically has it on life support with a power cable needed at all times.

Heres what happens, what you see is something about the battery not being recognized, but that happens all the time and isnt a problem. There's some beeps, I want to call them POST beep codes but I know nothing about computers in this sense so I don't want to call shots like that.
Any help?
