No shit. Infants need attention from their parents, and to have emotions and such taught to them by other humans, not a tv screen.
I was about to ask who the hell gives a babby an ipad anyway, but then I realized that half the first-graders I teach own an iphone...

No wonder so many iPhones get broken.
Quite depressing.
I see moms with iPhones or an Android phone pushing a stroller , everywhere... Jesus.

Why would someone push an android phone everywhere?

I dunno how that happened.
I hate touchpads.
Why are people in general so helplessly incapable of having any self-control when technology is involved? It's disturbing how many people I see on a daily basis that "function" this way.
Put your bullshit down/on hold once in a while, and interact with your children like proper humans are supposed to. Facilitate physical and emotional contact with them. Go outside with them. Play with them. Read or sing to/with them. Do something with them. Anything. Please. This is important stuff that impacts their lives and the development of our species.

Those aren't touchpads.

If it's by Synaptics there should be an option to control sensitivity somewhere, it also can detect accidental touching to some extent and turn off if you put other parts of your hand on it automatically.
This also should work with a good amount of other brands, Synaptics only patented stuff like chiral scrolling iirc.
I find it interesting how this is only happening now. Back then I did the same, only with gameboys.

My neighbor bought her twin daughters Galaxy S4's for their birthdays.
They're six.
