Watched a bit of carmacks keynote today. He mentioned that the tail end of 2012 is the beginning of the V-Reality experimental phase, and will be quite prominent in couple of years time.

if this does become big in the future I still don't think it's going to completely replace playing games on a screen, at least I hope it doesn't because I know this would not be comfortable after an hour or two hours worth of play.
I'm tempted to pledge and get a kit to play with and make some vids on.

I care about getting hits on my channel mostly. Maybe not enough to offset the 300 bucks though.
