It's by Gearbox. Those guys that managed to actually get DNF out the door. I doubt they'll not finish.

If the co-op is as tight as Borderlands I'll be all over this. Just have a 4-pack on Steam at launch and we're set.

DNF was the only bad game they've ever made, and they didn't even work on most of it. It was mostly finished when they got their hands on it, they just did the final polishing and released it.

They didn't even make any of DNF at all. They just polished up some sections and pieced the levels together, that was it. A ballsy move by them and quite a credible one, but just too bad that DNF was fucked up beyond repair at that point.

This sucks, in the sense that I can't play it during summer holidays now, but it's good because a delayed came can only get better.

This canon thing is a gimmick, since no future Alien movies will ever reference the events in the game. They can basically do anything and then call it canon. But you're free to get all "zOMFG, canon!"
