I just noticed that Windows Photo Viewer displays colours in a weird way. Almost like I'm look at some gif where the colours are exaggerated and have this sort of 'stop and start' gradient. It looks weird af, can anyone else see it? I used Microsofts newer photo viewing program which fixes it, but I never really liked it. Are there any good alternatives to Windows Photo Viewer?
IrfanView works well for me.
Honeyview is great and lightweight

I can highly recommend IrfanView too! It may looks like Windows 98 software but it supports a huge amount of file types and it's possible to install addons

iirc it can also read from archives like zip, cbr, ect, even saves your spot if you open the same archive up later
Looks the same as it does in the browser.
the image quality in the photo itself isn't great. smart phones aren't good at taking pictures of varying light conditions
