OS X Leopard 10.5.5, whenever I left/right click the screen freezes up for a second or two, and it's really irritating
i can't even double click anymore
Right click?
Which model computer are you using?
tried a different mouse
tried a different mouse
yeah, no difference
it's a hackintosh, but that shouldn't change anything should it?
Ugh. One problem could be that some sort of inferior USB related piece of hardware could be malfunctioning, but that's pretty far fetched. I know very little about hackintoshes, but if you post your specs, someone else can help you. I won't, because I believe hackintoshes to be wrong and this is some sort of justice being served to you, but good luck with your problem!
Get a Mac, it will run OSX smooothly.

So stick with Windows. There's a reason Apple restricts their hardware.

Macs aren't made for right clicking.

Fixed.
Try locating the .kext you using for mouse support and change it, alternatively use the PS/2 .kext and try a PS/2 mouse instead of usb
