I'm just looking for a new music player. I would like one that supports loads of different audio file types (like .flac), looks clean and is easy to use.
Don't know if this is the right place or not..
Winamp is simple and pretty easy to use. It supports lots of file types. It's cluttered, though.
I also suggest Spotify. It's a nice music player that also offers streaming for free. There are a few things missing that are present in most music players, though, like being able to loop a single song (you have to put it in a new playlist in Spotify).
Foobar2000, it's plain and sexy. It has a nice range of playable formats too.
winamp, and then get a minimalist skin if you like stuff nice and clean.
VLC Media Player.
foobar 2000
Are you talking about software or a physical mp3 player? OP doesn't specify.
For software, foobar2000.
MP3 player would be Sansa Clip+.
VLC Media Player.
VLC is a terrible choice for music. It can't properly handle playlists of any real size.
Media Player Classic + FFDshow.
Personally, a good choise.
Winamp
zune media player
I personally use foobar, but I'm getting tired of it. Just like how I got tired of Winamp.
Clementine is a,light weight music player, I recommend it.
foobar2000.
Default, it's pretty great.
With the right plugins, it's a beast.
Don't really like Winamp. I find it cluttered and bloated.
i do rather love winamp
Thanks guys, I'm going to check some of them out. I'll start with Foobar.

Aside from more supported file formats I never understood why you would download an entirely new music player when Media Player works perfectly fine and is already on the computer from the getgo
Unless I am missing out on the greatest thing ever or something

Extreme customization. More codecs, plugins (Which can drastically alter just about anything to even how the music sounds), better optimization and more efficiency.

I used to think this too but WMP is just too clunky for me. It takes awhile to load up and my current music player (foobar2000) is just more tidy and lightweight.
Am I the only person who uses iTunes then on a pc? I used to have an ipod up until I started using my phone for music last year. I like iTunes though because it's simple and clean, but it's so slow starting up.
mpd+ncmpcpp
Mainly iTunes, although this thread has me looking into Foobar.
