My hard drive was filled randomly.

This happend like yester day. my computer spammed massive popups about my hard drive.

I got avast! as virus shield. I don't think it is a virus, i formated at 16 june. any ideas or so?

Typical virus, it's not actually full though, it just tells windows that it's full and makes it read only.

Just run a virus check and restart.

Either reformat, or go into your c:/ and find the properties in each file, find the biggest one, then go into it, then find the biggest one in that ECT until you get to the culprit, if you do not recognize it, LOOK IT UP, and if it is a virus / bullshit, DELETE IT.

Looks like a nasty virus. Be sure to get some protection when you recover from it. You may have to reformat if it's too bad.

I remember a virus messed with my steam files, made it grow 100 mbps, I had to remove the steam folder to get rid of it, after that everything was fine.

If your computer is going a helluva lot slower, then it's filled for sure.

You can either surf around your computer files and then just find the one that's fucking massive, or else run a virus scan

Seriously though check for viruses, malware, that kind of stuff, if all else fails it is probably a hard drive failure/problem.

i've scanned alot of times, i got 462 mb left. i can't find the folder that takes all the space.

not a fake show thingy. i tried install patch for crysis just about 5 mins ago. (firefox = slow)
