So I recently purchased an Asus A53SV laptop for school and everything is great except for once and a while ( usually when the OS boots ) the disc drive pops open randomly. I checked all the startup programs and nothing is doing it. I checked out the BIOS updates and theres a recent one that caught my eye. I know this has to do with the disc drive but I'm wondering what the S4 aging means. Study computers a lot and i don't know what it is. Here is the description.
BIOS 306
Patch some ODD will tray out when S4 aging.

Thanks
Might be this : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Configuration_and_Power_Interface
S4: Hibernation or Suspend to Disk. All content of main memory is saved to non-volatile memory such as a hard drive, and is powered down.
So it might be fixing a issue when it goes into S4.
