Ill get to the crooks of it, ive some how been moroinc enough to (whilst deleting the file windows.old to free up space after instaling Win7) send a particular peice of a years worth of writing to the grave. Im not talking my recycle bin, I meen wiped from my system (I think). If anyone can be amazingly honerable and tell me about any way to redeam my situation I'd be forever in their debt.
Help?
So basically you deleted something really important and are shitting bricks?
Assuming you haven't written a bunch of stuff to the disk after you deleted the file in question, it is still there, it just had the references to the file deleted. You can try Piriform Recuva to get the file back, or at least most of it.

judging by your writing skills here i don't think you have much to worry about
Try not to do too much on the computer until you've ran Recuva (which by the way, I also would have posted had he not, it's a good program)
Doing stuff will eventually over write your hard drive
Thanks a lot guys :)
