When turning on my computer earlier it didn't boot but instead gave me the whole beeping thing. Anyway I looked it up (I have a phoenix bios) and the code (Identical beeps immediatly after each other) corresponds to PSU/RAM failure.
Now the reason I made this thread is that I'm not really sure whether it is a PSU/RAM failure as it boots as far as just before the windows logo then stops and does nothing (Running Vista 32 Bit) so I assume that as it can boot that far the RAM and PSU are fine (I was playing Fallout 3 fine before I shut it down).
I'm just wondering is it possible that it is a PSU/RAM failure or is it just something like the registry has messed up?
Try booting up with one stick of ram.
Easiest check to do is try booting off a CD. If that works, your hardware is most likley fine.

Yeah did that worked fine. Still its's weird about the beeping thing for no reason.
What type of PSU do you have?
What type of RAM do you have?
How much RAM do you have?
