The spare PC is now being used as a casual gaming system.. It hasn't got a great CPU, Just 1GB of ram and no PCI-E.
Basically, I need a cheap card that can run Battlefield 2 and Source smooth. Low or medium, I don't really care, any resolution (800x600 or higher if possible)
I was looking at a 6800 but if you can find anything better for cheaper than £45 that would be great.
Edit: It currently has a GeForce FX5200, It can run BF2 and Source but at the lowest settings they both get around 10fps...
Newegg doesn't ship to the UK.
Also a 6800 is better than a 7300.
Both of these are a bit more but a nice cards
the 3650

or the 3850 which might not work on your psu.

I have a 500W PSU, should be enough to handle all AGP graphics cards.
Thanks for the links

Does it have 20 amps on the 12 volt rail?
3850 is your best choice.
It'd be more cost effective to buy a new mobo and a pcie card.

Not really. For a a little money you can keep a computer going for a while which saves you money when you do buy a new computer.
4650 would handle fine on that psu.
