• 9800 GT crashes

So I've been dealing with this for a while, but I want to fix it. I got a Point of View Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT, but my computer had a 9600 GS one built in. Now, the 9800 GT is obviously better, and I experience huge performance boosts while using it. However, it crashes my computer whenever I play a game with decent graphics for a while. Ranging from medium-performance games like the old Prince of Persia trilogy or Trine to high-end games like FarCry 2 or Resident Evil 5, it always crashes sooner or later. Now the crash happens like this: Without a warning, the screen gets stuck and distorted, creating a wild torrent of 16-bits or something on the screen. I can still hear other programs like Ventrilo or iTunes in the background, so they're game only. After a while of the screen being like that, the computer restarts after like 15 seconds. (I've usually restarted it myself by then) Now I have none of these problems when using the older one, just the performance difference keeps me at the new one. Is it an air circulation problem? I must admit, that the inside of the computer is quite stuffed, and the graphic card itself looks somewhat dusty (that is weird though, shouldn't the dust be blown outside of the GFX' fan?) I got Windows Vista 32-bit, planning to upgrade to Windows 7 soon though. Quadcore, 2,33 GHz each; 4 GB RAM.
Check temps while gaming, if computer can stay stable that long.
