My computer, despite being aware of a local area connection that is connected, cannot connect to the internet. The connection has nothing listed under the "Support" tab, and attempting to repair results in "Failed to query TCP/IP settings of the connection". Help? :3
Is there a LAN cable connected to the computer? If not then i doubt the local area connection works, even though it states so. Are you using a wireless network setup?
IF you see a computer with a red x on it at the mini icon place on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen. Check your network cable, and see if your router is working.
