Need New Computer Budget of up to 1500$ and i'm in New Zealand

hey fellas, my crummy computer is pretty much reaching the end of it's usefulness it can't run the latest games that i want to play (rome 2, stalker lost alpha & dark souls 2) so i want to buy/build a new one. i've got 1500$ but if i spend all of that then i'll be broke for 2 weeks so i'd kinda prefer to have 100$ or more left over but i can handle being skinflint. so yeah, pretty much need a new computer from scratch minus mouse monitor keyboard and speakers, need new OS and everything else i'd prefer windows 8 but if windows 7 is cheaper that's good too. new zealand or australian sites would be preferable unless the sites you guys can provide have cheap shipping. thanks in advance
I'm not sure if it is financially beneficial for you to order all from one site for shipping to NZ, but here's a good setup. You can use it as a rough guide if you need to change the sites.

all that stuff being shipped from aussie would be 160$ which is pretty ruthless
have you heard of pricespy? it's pretty much the NZ version of partpicker.
yeah i've heard of it, the thing is i'm not really sure of what stuff to be looking up since i'm fairly computer hardware-illiterate

ah alright, you should be able to pop whatever peoples suggestions in this thread into that to see how cheap you can get it in new zealand.
