I'm having loads of trouble with this trojan by the name of 'updata.exe'. The infection is a Trojan horse Clicker.AJVN
I got then whilst browsing FPSbanana.com. I already tried deleting 'updata.exe', restart, run in safe mode then scanning but it's still here.
If you guys have any suggestions or tips, they are welcome because I need it bad.
Oh, by the way. I'm using AVG if y'all are wondering.
Try both Malwaresbyte's anti-malware and Avira, download CCleaner too.
Disable System Restore from your HD.
Run CCleaner and clean all your shit and use the registry clean.
Open Avira an run a scan (doesn't have to be full it's usually on memory/networkservices/registry/windows etc) if you don't know the folders just run full to be safe.
Once you're done with that run Malwarebyte.
Run CCleaner again after they're done sweeping and restart, if after the reboot nothing was picked by newer scan, enable System restore again.
Edit:
In order to use Avira you're going to have to unistall AVG, but the good news is that Avira is probably better even being free.
Thanks for the reply but no luck.
I'm really at a loss.
If you're on Windows Vista you can do the following
1. Open your start menu.
2. In the search bar type msconfig and hit enter
3. Go to startup.
4. Find if the process is there, remove it from starting up when windows starts. (The location of the process is listed there)
5. Open your Processes list (Ctrl+Alt+Delete)
6. Find the process you want to kill/remove.
7. Right click on it, and click on "Open File Location" (You can also click on Properties in that right click menu)
8. Kill the process in the processes list.
9. Remove the .exe file from its location you just discovered.

I have the little suspicion that you have actually not tried what the user above you said.
Don't listen to Sh4dow. Those bloatware won't help you. They won't get rid of a trojan.
If you use Windows, download Microsoft Security Essentials. It's free, light and has good detection rates.
If MSE can't clean it then your screwed and your best option is to backup your data, reformat and reinstall.
Hopefully you learn your lesson and make sure you scan small suspicious files with online virus scanners like www.virustotal.com. They scan your file with multiple virus engines.

The fuck are you talking about? You're calling Antivir bloatware?
[editline]08:38PM[/editline]
AND Malwarebyte's anti-malware? Wow.

Oh my god, it's a trojan, a MOTHER-FUCKING TROJAN, fuck what sh4dow said because I only tried MSE and it appeared to be good so the other antivirus- and malwarescanners are bad.
Download the free trial of NOD32? It cleans things completely, like the full version, but only for 30 days.
MSE would probably work in this case, actually (despite the fact that the OP shouldn't use it for extended periods).
I have this same problem. Pissin me off. Gonna try what Sh4d0w said
Start up in Safe Mode and THEN try Malwarebytes.

And you know this how?
I'm willing to do anything to get rid of this trojan, so don't insult me.
Because you supposedly did everything he said in roughly an hour.
Your last resort is to reformat your hard drive, just make sure you have your OS disk.

I'm not trying to insult you, I was saying this because you were pretty quick and I'm pretty sure that a combo of Avira and Malwarebytes in safe mode should be able to get rid of many viruses.
Removing the Virus
To remove this virus, you are REQUIRED to have a Windows disk corresponding to your version of Windows OR a recovery drive that came from factory. If you do not, you are pretty much screwed... There are other ways but they have a 10% chance of working.
So now, insert your Windows disk into your CD/DVD drive and restart your computer. When it says to "Press any key to continue..." do so. If you have a recovery drive, you will either have to press a key that is defined on the Bios screen or press F8 before Windows loads. Choose to recover your Windows installation.
After you choose the option to recover your Windows Installation, you can choose to use Command Prompt to do so. Once the Command Prompt opens, type the following...
Windows XP: fixmbr
Vista or 7: bootrec.exe /FixMbr
After the process completes, you can then close command prompt and Restart your computer. When the computer loads up again, the Virus has been disabled. You just need to delete the file.
I used this to get rid of the Trojan that I had. But if it doesn't work, sorry.
