Steam turned off Saints Row IV because the CD key site didn't pay apparently.

So I did a favor for SweFox last week, and he got me Saints Row IV as a thank you. He got it from a Keysite though, but regardless I got the game and I played it for a few days and beat it.
So today I click on the game to play and this wonderful message comes up.

So my guess is, the keysite Swe got it from screwed us both. They took his money and ran, while steam turned off my game. I am completely unable to play it now, and very, very, very, very angry about this.
I don't expect someone to give me a freebie because of this or something, I already beat the game, I just wanted to play more and try to get 100%.
Long story short: A keysite probably screwed me and a friend off and now I can't play this game at all. And I am really pissed off because of that.
Have you guys contacted the keysite?

He's filed a Dispute.
Same thing happened to me when a "friend" (read: random guy on my friends list) of mine stole a credit card and bought everything he could with it.
You might want to contact steam to see if they can help clear it up, given your status they could be kind enough to just give it to you.
I'll be honest, I just made this thread to vent. There's no way to really fix this.
So if a mod wants to close this thread, that's find with me.

Why would Steam refund a fraudulent gift. Why would they refund a gift either way in any situation.

Because they are nice. I have really heard this happening before.

Well what should I do then?
Never hurts to submit a steam support ticket.
I got a refund from the dispute, they apologized.
Case closed.
